I read a letter to the editor 13 years ago, written by a single mother. What she said stuck with me for years. She said Mothers today are conditioned to be needy, they complain about welfare not being enough, and they only valued child support. She went on to explain how she had twins at the age of 18, lived on her own, and there were no support to help her raise her children. She said the system was turning women to depend on their children to financially survive, and its going to create a huge mess. She was right. So for all the mothers wanking over child support, grow up, there are millions of women who in the past didnt get anything, and they survived raising their children. I met an 82 year old woman the other day who didnt get child support, or alimony and guess what, Shes beyond proud of herself for everything she worked for. Shes a good person because she wasnt conditioned to believe that she needed child support, or alimony to be a great mother. Here it is, hate me for what I just said, because Im sick of hearing fathers be called deadbeats over child support. My ex dont pay, but Im not going to sit here refusing him to see our children, nor will I call him a deadbeat. I made the choice to be a mother, as did all of you!
