I read a tech article once that said 4k was twice the resolution of 1080p. I did the math. It turns thats not accurate. After doing the math, it turns out that 4k is actually 4 times the resolution of 1080p. Most 4k tvs are expensive. At least the good ones with the better technology. There isnt much out there in terms of content to support that level of resolution. I\ am told however, that Netflix has a limited streaming service for some 4k tvs available. If your into a cheaper 4k tv Seiki has some affordable prices. Ive never seen them work but the prices are pretty good. In fact, fairly comparable to what many 1080p televisions go. :o)
