I read an article recently saying that most people only post the good things about their life on Facebook, which could lead their friends to think their lives were less perfect by comparison. So in the interest of bucking this trend, let me just say, I have the mother of all sinus infections. My head is no longer functioning as a head and has turned into a mucus machine instead. The biggest accomplishment Ive made today is writing a check for my taxes -- a day late. And Im wearing the ugliest sweatpants youve ever seen and watching very well-groomed people cook on the Food Network as I sit on my cat-scratched sofa and softly moan.
