I read an awesome article about what is being done to improve the situation women deal with in Malawi. It was about president Joyce Banda and her idea to start a Special Committee on the Acceleration of Girls Education in Malawi. Her first line of action was to increase the minimum age in which a women can get married to 18. This is very important as it pertains to giving women enough time to get educated. This should have positive long term effects on womens health and education. #dsmulson
