I read an inspiring post by Charlotte Bieldt about not being a woman at ease and sharing our mess. It encouraged me to quit waiting for my mess to be fixed before sharing my journey. My friends, my life is pretty messy and has been for years. Just when I think the cleaning crew is coming in to clean everything up, the garbage truck comes instead and empties its contents into the dump that is my life. I know that life is messy for all of us or that we all go through messy seasons. In the middle of the chaos, I feel incredibly blessed (most of the time.) If circumstances never improve, Ill be okay. But, I am hoping and working for major change. So, Ill continue to share resources that encourage me but Im also going to share more of my personal journey. The support Ive received and lessons Ive learned from great teachers have helped me feel peaceful in the middle of some pretty crazy circumstances and that peace is always available to all of us. I apologize for hiding and Im kind of sort of looking forward to exposing my mess and sharing victories as they happen. Heres to all of us growing in our power one day at a time.
