I read and re-read this section in Isaiah below with such a mixture of emotions - JOY at the forgiveness of sin, WONDER at the beautiful picture of God seeking His people even though we were not looking for Him, the INDESCRIBLENESS of the Millennial Kingdom that is to come and the peace and joy there, the New Earth & Heaven to come for eternity all are so JOYful and full of EXCITEMENT at knowing my future. However, behind this there is also the judgment on those who reject Gods plan and that ran my emotions to the other end of the spectrum - sadness and TEARS. Many that I wish would SEE this and LISTEN wont read it, but perhaps some will. God loves you and has given me a love for you too and I pray for you regularly. I dont want you to be eternally separated from God - God and I both want you in the wonderful eternity He has for us! Sadly there are some who have outright rejected God, others of you who just try to pretend it all doesnt exist and other who say Im a Christian or Im OK but by your actions I dont know and that concerns me. I see no fruit! I do know and have certainly experienced not following God and listening to Him, but I knew I was wrong. Some of you know but others dont seem to. You think you can live with unforgiveness and anger and bitterness in your life. You think you can set your own standard above Gods (65:5). Please if you have read this far ask if your life is characterized by, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control;? (Galatians 5:22-23) If not please yield your entire life to God, give Him your old life and receive the life of Jesus and follow Him. Walk in what He has for you! (Eph. 2:10) 8 But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. 1 I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, Here am I, here am I, To a nation which did not call on My name. 5 Who say, Keep to yourself, do not come near me, For I am holier than you! These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day. 6 Behold, it is written before Me, I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will even repay into their bosom, 14 Behold, My servants will shout joyfully with a glad heart, But you will cry out with a heavy heart, And you will wail with a broken spirit. 23 They will not labor in vain, Or bear children for calamity; For they are the offspring of those blessed by the LORD, And their descendants with them. 24 It will also come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the serpents food. They will do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain, says the LORD. 1 Thus says the LORD, Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest? 2 For My hand made all these things, Thus all these things came into being, declares the LORD. But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word. Isaiah 64:8-66:2 (NASB)
