I read several reports today about a super-uber liberal group that supports the secession of the southern states because they believe theses states are dumbing down the rest of the country. They seem to think that the citizens of these states push their conservative views and take funds that should go to blue states. Some mega-rich liberal named Guy Sapperstein supposedly confirmed that this group he is a member of has indeed discussed this subject. I checked various sites on the web, although I didnt find anything on a mainstream media site, I did locate several that reported basically the same thing. One of the sites, seems to lean conservative, is the Independent Journal Review. I have found that the stories that the IJR publishes can be fact checked through various other sources. All I can say is, bring it on..... I say we just call all of these southern states the Republic of Texas. Well have our own space agency, one of the largest military bases in the world, great fishing fleets, oil and gas, lumber, several ship building sites, and three of the top ten shipping ports are in the south. So, draw up the papers and let the libs have whats left.
