I read the Sundays paper and see all of these water advisories - TopicsExpress

I read the Sundays paper and see all of these water advisories going on in my city, which is alarming and raises great concerns with the residents in this city. I lay in my bed and think real deep of what is going on with the message speaking about the water ,regarding this water crisis, which is a necessity for sustainment of life. I read the flint journal today speaking about the water advisories and something didnt sit well with me, and maybe it could just be me, but let me expound on what I read and why it didnt sit well with me. The Paper said that City officials have said testing shows water leaving its treatment plant meets all drinking water standard, another indication contamination comes from the distribution system rather than the river. There is some questions about the aforementioned statement. Readers please follow me in my analysis and maybe we can put this together and hopefully come up with the same conclusion, which could be inconclusive, but makes a lot of sense. 1. The Emergency manager, with the funds from the Mott Foundation, paid 80,000 for a company called Ratfield to do a water rate study. In that study they concluded that the water rates would have to increase to sustain the water plant, that the current rate would not sustain the plant for the next 50 years. It also mentioned that we would have to raise the rates for many years to come. The residents in Flint, Michigan was concerned about the rates going up, especially because we were being supplied water from the river, one would think that the rates would go down, because of a savings we would have, using the Flint River; which is correct. However, the emergency manager explained that the savings would be used to fix the infrastructure of the water plant, that was his justification for raising the water rates and will be raised again. However, his justification has not convinced the residents of the city and from their dissatisfaction many protest and outcries have occurred, pushing the emergency manager and his administration backs against the wall and wondering what more can they do to manipulate the residents to believe that the water rates should continue to go up? Well I think this is what they are doing now, and that is? They are starting to use these water boiling advisories to frighten the residents, by telling them that it is not the Flint River which is causing this coliform, bacteria, or fecal manner, but the treatment plant, REALLY? The article goes on to explain of the urgency of fixing the infrastructure of the water plant, which they say is causing all of these problems. My perception of this is, they could be causing all of these boiling advisories intentionally, to deceive and convince us that the water rates needs to go up in order to give us clean water. If I am correct, I would call this a Systematic Psychological deception, to keep extorting money from the residents of Flint to pay for debts and bring the protesting to an end, because people will start to believe that the water rates should go up and continue to do so in order to drink pure water, free from any contaminates, with out any more concerns of boiling advisories, and free from any unhealthy living conditions. Please read the Sunday Paper, Dated 14th, page A1 and A7. I dont believe any of this, and I could be right. Tell me does this make sense, because I can be wrong, but something tells me that I could be right. Join in on the conversation, we will figure this out together.
