I read the personal letter of Archbishop Anthony Apuron in the Umatuna Si Yuos publication of sunday October 26, 2014. The letter basically urges all people to Vote No on Proposal 14A (Bill 215), The Joaquin (KC) Concepcion II Compassionate Cannabis Act of 2013. I take exception to some of his comments which seems like something someone else wrote for him by the way. Toward the end of his personal letter, he states that For the sake of clarity: To take the cannabis extract for medicinal used (sic) is something totally different from smoking marijuana. I want to ironically thank him for this statement with which proves the whole point of this movement for MEDICINAL USE of cannabis is on track. I take exception to the fact that he thinks the motive behind our quest for the SICK is nothing more than an excuse so we could all smoke and stay home rather than going to mass and donating to the church. He states: There is no other reason behind launching medical marijuana than subsequent legalization of recreational marijuana and cannabis use. Considering medical marijuana a treatment or a pain relief medication is simply a pseudo-medical bluff. Really now? Never mind about the ones that used medicinal cannabis and what their testimony of how it works for them means to you. Redundantly, in his final paragraph he states to say yes to life, love, and education as the pope reminds us. I wonder if the terms life and love in this case do not include the compassion for others prudent in morality. Para Amot este Obispo. Ahe ti para i man barbo yan man metgot na para i manmalango. I manmalango ni a nissisita ayudu ginen esta na tinanom ni ni nain YUOS. No partying in the mind of Joaquin Concepcion II when he urged the medicinal use of cannabis. Hasso hamyu taotao Guahan. Check it out for yourself. youtu.be/d7K56-w3czw
