When youre from the farm, your perception is a little bit different. A farmer drove to a neighbors farmhouse and hammered on the door. A boy, about 9, opened the door. Is your dad or mom home? said the farmer. No, sorry, they went to town. How about your brother, Howard? Is he here? No, he went with Mom and Dad. The farmer stood there fuming, and after a few minutes shifting from one foot to the other, muttering oaths and mumbling to himself, the young boy said, I know where all the tools are, if you want to borrow something, or I can give Dad a message when he gets home. Well, thats kind - thanks...I appreciate that said the farmer uncomfortably. But, I what I really want to talk to your father about is your brother, Howard - and about him getting my daughter Suzy pregnant... The boy thought for a moment...then said, You know, maybe it IS best to talk to my Dad about that.... He squinted and looked into the far distance and continued...I know he charged £500 for the bulls and £250 for the pigs, but I have no idea how much hes charge for Howard...
