I readily acknowledge that I probably post far too many pictures and videos of my beloved Luna. I would not say I am obsessed or vain or trying to show off as I have been told on several occasions...instead I assert I am in love. I have been asked over and over why someone like me (reads overweight) would get such a high energy, high grooming, extensive training and handling type dog. My answer to that is simple. I didnt get a dog. I found the love of my life. I went searching for my hearts companion and found her. I found someone who loves me as much as I love her. Both ways unconditionally until the end and beyond. From her first morning stretch and those gorgeous brown eyes staring sleepily up at me to the last sigh when I cover her up in her blankie at night she is my light, my love, my joy, my sadness, my triumph, my heartbreak. All the things that most dog owners would run from behavior and temperamentally, the expensive vet bills and trials and tribulations of having medical needs...those are the things that make me love Luna that much more. She gives me all of herself every day and makes me want to push myself to be a better person. She has shown me the simple joys in life that make all the difference in the way I see the world. I love that if she does what I ask it is because I earned her trust and learned her way and I equally love that if she doesnt do what I ask that I know I havent learned the right way to ask yet. I never doubt her, she is far smarter than me in so many ways. Maybe I am crazy, maybe she is spoiled, yes she is my princess. All I know is that she filled a hole in my heart. I love her not despite her naughty terrier ways but because of them. There isnt anything I wont do for her. I love her because she is mine and I am hers and together we can take on the world.
