I realise I put a lot of stuff on here about my music & hope that my friends know the reasons & dont get too bored with it all. The reasons, contrary to what some may think, are not ego driven. They are not about me thinking Im better than anyone else - bloody hell, I see players every day who are better than Ill ever be! My reasons are the same as those that drive any working family man. I want to provide for my family, I have failed to succeed in countless jobs over the last 26 years (partly thanks to my old mate Tourettes Syndrome) & I have finally found a way of channelling all my energy & passion into something Im proud of. I am not famous, not sure I even want to be, but I work my arse off playing to anyone wholl listen. I hope I make them happy as for me, that is the product Im selling. When I tell you Ive done 40, 50 bookings in a month, Im not boasting, Im proud. I wont apologise for being proud as Ive had years of low self esteem & what I do now actually makes me feel good. So they are my reasons for putting all this stuff on Facebook - my love for my family, my desire to provide for them, my pride in the fact that I am finally able to - & if thats not enough, remember music is my lifelong passion & hobby too! There are many people around who moan about what other people post - I actually like seeing what you are having for dinner as it gives me ideas!! Post what you like, I am friends with you because of who you are & not despite it! I hope that is a feeling you can all reciprocate.
