I realize it has been a week or so since an update. I keep hoping that I have new news. I just got an email from one of the Elders, Wayman Spangler saying that it is still on the lawyers desk and that Clayton will be making an effort to call the lawyer more often to get him to complete the work. I have no idea what that means since it is a simple Warranty Deed and the agreement is very cut and dry with no loop holes or contrived language but at this point I am doing all I can do by daily phone calls and emails. I know they are surely sick of me. I dont want anyone to think I have dropped the ball, Wayman is still sounding positive and seems to simply be waiting on a lawyer that obviously cant find anything that would justify billable hours or he would get this off his desk and all of us out of his hair :-) I hope to have the wreath work day on Wednesday December 3rd but will have to confirm the date and time with Pat Peterson. I have had some issues requiring a lot of trips to the city for doctors appointments and it has really eaten into my work schedule as well as my cemetery work schedule. I have several trips to St. Louis between now and the 6th and doing my best to work around all of this. I promise to have this time and date confirmed as soon as possible. Thanks for everyones endurance on this matter. Please continue to lift one of ours in prayer, Billie Sowell and her husband Bill as she is meeting with some health challenges and decisions. They have been a huge part of the Association and we send prayers and healing thoughts to Billie. Thank you for all you do, physically, prayerfully and financially...
