I realize reining horses bring more money, and the people associated usually have cash, but please dont try and pass your horse off as a reiner when it is not. There is an assumption that ANY horse can rein and that is just not the case. People look on here assuming they are looking at reining horses and they are not and would have difficulty with the reining maneuvers as they are not bred for it. Please be aware, I will try and screen out the non-reiners but they do slip through and you may want to have a horse evaluated by a reining trainer to see if the animal is appropriate (If it doesnt have the pedigree or at least the proof in show earnings). There have been a couple people who bought pretty horses that were marketed as reiners and the just are not capable (either conformationally or temperament). Just because I say I am a doctor does not make me one. Be aware and look into a horse carefully. There have been several people very unhappy who have purchased horses they thought were reiners... and will save for years to get one that is and now are stuck with a pleasure horse.
