As as soon as I saw the race route I was stoked to be co-driving this section and a little bit jealous of Darren because he got to drive it. High speed dryish lake beds (right Ryan Millen? looks like we just barely skirted the deep mud hole), some dunes and a Mexican fishing village make these miles just awesome. You think itd be easier to navigate such open terrain but the lack of landmarks makes it somewhat tricky.
