I realized there is no love here, there has never been love here. I find myself praying to my uncle for answers. Im not even mad, Im just scared, actually the truth is Im shaking in fear, but not just for me. I fear for my family, my friends, and other young black people. i still believe in the words of Sam Cooke that a change will come. i wish ill on no one and i am not here to lecture either. its funny because in America black culture is one of the most imitated culture, but when its truly time to understand the hurt, the pain, the unjust, the cruel reality and the sadness of what it means to be young and black in american, your voices are lost and you guys cant be found. we are new slaves to an old system and it true to me that they do not want us here.
