I really appreciate all of your care and support over this matter. When people hear PIT BULL, they automatically expect a vicious animal. Nothing is going to come of this. The cop was over-anxious. They were ill-prepared for a capture situation, and if you are afraid of a dog....any dog,,,,you dont need to be a cop. I have had to beat a vicious dog off before. If you cant whip the hell out of a dog, you must have a soft taint. Deja was afraid of the cat.....no shit.....The cop took charge thru a calm situation and threatened her. He provoked my dog.....then he shot her......poor judgement. Im not cutting down the Wise police. Most of em are just normal good ol boys. This guy was TOO gung ho. Ill never forget him. She loved me and trusted me so much and when she looked at me and I could only hold her and not help her, I begged him to put her out of her misery and God as my witness he grinned at me. Waaaaaay too cocky to be a public servant. Im really hurt. Those of you who knew her, you know she was so gentle and loving. My friends and family are devistated.
