I really appreciate curb/alley recycling pickup! We recycle a massive amount of stuff because its conveniently taken care of by the city of Chicago. Id say that 50% of what leaves our house is recycled and 50% is trash.l We could probably even do better than that if we really put in some extra time. I wish every city had a setup like we do here. In Houston, it was quite a pain to load it all up in the back of my car every few weeks (sometimes Id put it off for up to a month and it would get huge) to take to the recycling center.
