I really believe in therapy animals. We had a cat, a large male named Junior. My daughter and I signed up with Junior for him to be a therapy cat. We were regulars at nursing homes. He was so kind and gentle. All the people in the homes just loved him. He didnt mind tight hugs at all. It was important for my young daughter to see how important it is not to forget people in nursing homes. It was also important for her to see how they loved holding and petting a soft animal on their lap. I wanted to continue with a therapy pet here in Sweden but , its not allowed here. Too bad.
