I really cant stand bullies, nor can I sit back and let someone mess with my friends. A lot of people sit back and let the terribles do whatever they want (because they dont want any problems, regardless of what is right and wrong behavior). Well I am a bad liar, and I dont play pretend. I am probably going to take a bit of flak for this, but hey, I was cornered and threatened. If she thinks she can go after my reputation, she over stepped. If your one of her friends and you think her behavior was ok, then please remove yourself from my circles, because I dont and wont need you. I know this means i wont get gigs at certain venues or festivals, but my integrity matters more. while i was sitting in the hallway waiting for the next workshop, a certain someone came up to me and asked to talk. I told her no, I didnt want to talk. She asked again, I repeated myself, and then she began to get irate and belligerent. I stood up to get away from her and walk around the corner of the hall. She yelled at me about how this was high school behavior. I said I didnt want to talk because I dont want to deal with these dramatics. She yelled a bit more. She then goes on to say Your gonna be sorry, your gonna be screwed in my social circles.... Oh yeah she went there, in fact she went on her tirade in front of about 8 other dancers in the hallway. That alone should make her feel foolish because I wasnt the one causing drama, she was. Behind the scenes shes been insulting to some of us, horribly pretentious, acting entitled, and otherwise bullying other upstart performers and promoters. Well guess what, we dont need you, your advice, or your criticism. You are irrelevant to us. We have our own shows, our own fans, and we never asked your opinion to begin with. yes true... im causing drama now by posting this, but she promised I would be screwed in her social circles. what recourse do I have? I have every reason to fear her Lies have more weight than the Truth. I keep pissing off the megalomaniacs, and supposedly burning bridges, but last I checked Im the one going places. If I wasnt humble, Id be a small time fish too, but I dont live in small bowl, I swim in the ocean.
