I really did not want to do this but I guess I Must- for all my dear friends who live abroad and being brainwashed... As my dear friend told me the other day” Don’t say anything, everyone know their truth, the most important is that you know yours! Maybe I am naïve, but I thought that if I will share my own experience with those who used to be my friends, who used to sit next to me in classes, who used to cook with me, travel with me, laugh with me, will stop to judge me – because judging and criticizing my country those days = judging and hating me!!! I would die for some of my best friends who used to live in Lebanon…because I do not care where they from, I as most Israelis only fight the Terrorists!!! We have NOTHING against Lebanese, Syrians, Iranians, … All those who post things that shock me each day – I have 1 question to you- why you left your country?! – why you live in States, Australia, Canada…and go to support Gaza in streets of NY, Paris, London..…e see what we go through here and then talk! ….if some chose to believe Media ...let me share my story, let me show our reality: We did not choose to fight this war...we were forced to protect our civilians...we tried more than once to stop but Hamas refused...we hate as much as you when their kids are being killed, but please also take a look how Hamas teach them to shoot when they are babies! How they force them to be close to them so our army will not kill them, I could also show you and post so many examples of their violence and how they kill their children to save themselves and fight us! We do not fight RELIGION we fight TERRORISTS! Let me share my story- I am not Politian, I am not media I am Yulia Rijinsky 35 y.o with 2 kids who live in Israel…It was an amazing summer beginning , I took my kids to the beach every day, I planned our summer vacation (In Turkey- yes, again I admit I am naïve, I have short memory and I am optimistic…), I went to visit my parents each weekend with my kids in Ashkelon(where a bomb just exploded next to my parents’ house the other week), I took my kids to the park next to our building…we lived , we enjoyed life, we taught our kids to love, to laugh to be FREE! 1 Day 3 weeks ago – 3 of Israeli teenagers were kidnapped and murdered by terrorists! Israeli army decided to kill their terrorists’ murders and discovered underground tunnels…next day terrorist came out from one of these tunnels to Israeli ground wearing Israeli army uniforms and planned to kill our civilians… Meanwhile, at my home we took Yoni for a show in a park…as we just found a place to sit…we hear siren! We started to run with hundreds other moms, kids are falling moms are screaming…they told us to enter the closest restroom…luckily they did not stop the show but obviously I had to force myself to stay calm and show Yoni that it’s just a game and everything is fine! The next day and 20 days later our park where I used to take Yoni and Romy each day after work is empty! We play at the balcony now…Yoni with other kids have to lie down on the floor covering his head when they hear sirens in the kindergarten…almost every day…I called him yesterday in the pool to stay closer to me as he doesn’t swim well, and he looked at me with such scared eyes and yelled” mom, what happened is there a siren?, a bomb will explode now”?! Each day he asks me “will it be quite today?! Or there will be more sirens?! There is no more beach, no more park, no freedom, no vacation…no sleep…only worries for our soldiers for our friends, coworkers, relatives who fight in Gaza now… We do want PEACE! We do not want to kill any kids in Gaza, we want them to have life, vacations, freedom, everything that our kids have!!! Do not make us killers! All we want it to protect ourselves, our kids and have a normal life, we value life while Hamas value death! They teach their kids to hate Jews, to kill, to fight where we teach our kids to live, to love… Its impossible battle. It is very sad and scary!!! We only have 1 country! Jews still can only live in Israel as we see what is going on everywhere else these days, we must stay strong as this is our only chance for survival. Some people that see our strong country, our strong army will always keen to take the side of those who portrait to be weaker – but do not make this mistake! Hamas in Gaza is not weak! They have money, they have missiles… just try to remember again they we fight Hamas not people in Gaza!!! That’s all I am asking YOU!
