I really didnt plan that, i thought ill be just here on Israel loves Palestine...but life has its way and I have started to take part in a peace action that is not online. all I can say is that it contains great people, that are all women , and that it aims to a long process factory. soon I will publish the details, but here is a small hint regarding the first conference of this group, and this conference will be just the first step, cause believe me, i sit with them in the office and I see the passion for the next step: In Resolution 1325 on “Women, Peace and Security”, the United Nations established political guidelines for gender‐sensitive peace and security policies. As a result of the resolution, the Secretary‐General and the member states of the United Nations were called upon for the first time to protect the rights of women in conflict situations; to include womenas equal partners in peace negotiations,mediations and reconstruction; and to guarantee women a greater role in conflict prevention. The particular value of this resolution,which was unanimously adopted,is that women are no longer regarded merely as victims in violent and war‐like conflicts, but rather as active agents, who protect their families and social environment and must therefore also take on an active role in peace processes.
