I really dont care if Vick has changed. What is more disturbing is the way so many people, including the courts, view such a situation. Would we consider 19 months in prison sufficient punishment if he had tortured children? Would we be ready to forgive and forget and root for him if that were the case? Animals cant speak to us so they simply are garbage to most people. Paid his debt to society - as if American jurisprudence is somehow identical to moral justice.
