I really dont know what I would do without my Circle of Friends! We are a mighty bunch of folks. So thankful for the girls that helped with the sauce and setup today and the ones coming to help tomorrow. Extremely grateful for the amazing men that donate their time and talents cooking and chopping. Cooking 2,500 lbs of ham and making 50+ gallons of sauce is no easy task. A lot of hard work goes on to pull this event off and these folks really know how to lift me up when I need it most. The past few hours I have really been struggling with this rainy forecast. But tonight as I checked in on the guys before I headed across town, I found some truly special men who were cooking in a wonderful location, dry, warm and it just made me realize how blessed I really am. BBQ 2014 we are ready!
