I really dont want to do this but my sons skin and health is important. He is having horrible eczema and Dr thinks its pet related 😢 Hercules is a lover! But not to cats haha. He has been around other dogs at his home before us but since July has been the only dog. We have children ages 1-9 and while he does ok, he would be best with children 5+ who wont pull his tail and such. He has given warning to those who do. He is a cuddle bug. He does jump in our bed when my husband is gone. And he loves to sleep under our bed. Im relaxed with bed and couch so if thats a rule of yours you will need to train that. He is full bred st. Bernard but no papers. Will turn 3 in april. He is up to date on shots (will need annuals in April) and is registered with Davis county. He is a dry mouth and only gets drolly when theres food around. He us neutered. He has had dewclaws removed but they missed one and old owners just left it. They put him thru puppy 101. He is housebroken but if you ignore his whines to be let out at the door, accidents can happen. He loves independence with a doggy door. He does not eat as much as your think. We give him a scoop (1 cup) dog food for breakfast and 3 scoops for dinner. He is a picky drinker and does not like drool in his water lol so we empty and refreshen it twice a day. We feed him food made for large breed dogs. He does like flavors/brands switched out often (gets bored with same thing over and over) His downfalls- He is a food hound. We have to let him outside or in our room when cook & eat. He can reach on top of the table and he knows it ;) He doesnt like baths. You need two ppl and a hose outside to even try haha You have to watch that he doesnt run out the front door when you open it. We have baby gates for my toddlers so it hasnt been a big issue but there have been times he tries to sneak past your leg and want to get in you car for a ride. He loves car rides. He loves walks. He thinks hes a lapdog. He lets your brush him. He has been like our 5th child. He needs someone home often like a SAHM. A fully fenced backyard and preferably a doggy door will make him happiest. He comes with 2 leashes, bed shown, food and water dish, and some grooming supplies. If you are interested please contact me with information about your family and home.
