I really don’t know how to even word this. For years, all I have done is save dogs. I saved dogs through an emergency c-section with 32 staples….and still took care of the 10 dogs at my house at the time. I have neglected vacations…..because at this point, who will take care or the 14 dogs I have here. I have put thousands of my own personal money into this rescue and still owe thousands. I CAN NOT ever begin to explain the lengths I have gone to take care of our dogs and to help people…..and the average person will never understand. Today, I may have put my little girl in danger. I can not begin to explain the sickness involved with that feeling. At this point I have to determine, who comes first, my family or the rescue? So here’s the deal, I’m tired of shouldering this burden on my own….or with the few amazing ladies that share that burden with me. We hear daily how we are so needed….But guess what, we already know that. We are rescuing one of the most abused breeds in the nation. We need at this point some serious help. We have a huge vet bill. A huge vet bill, because we save dogs that no one else wants. I am, literally, a few days away from shutting down the rescue. We need blankets, we need food, we need money….. AND I WILL BE DAMNED IF I WILL PUT MY FAMILY IN DANGER IF NO ONE IS WILLING TO HELP US. We have 7000 fans on this page…..all it would take is $1.00 a person and a blanket every 500 people to save us. This is the bottom line, I believe in the dogs, and I believe in the cause….but it gets to a point……… that when I’m curled up in the fetal position on the bathroom floor because I can’t do anymore…..a decision has to be made and help has to come. We owe almost 6000 in vet bills….. and our goal is 4000 in a week. If we don’t make this goal, I will have no other choice than to shut the rescue down.
