I really enjoyed getting to spend some time hanging-out and talking with Katerina Tolstoy, JD Brown, Sammie McClure, and Ray Van Couvering at Rogue Roasters today. Most days I am able to connect in some way with our amazing community--even if it is just a few hellos when I go to get my matcha. And on a fairly regular basis I get to have meaningful, heart-felt, often fun and spirited conversations with a variety of wonderful people. I am honored. All of us who get to enjoy this connection with each other are so fortunate. So many people seem distraught by a lack of connecting with others face to face and heart to heart. So many people speak of a norm of isolation permeating our culture--and yes, Ive had times in my life when I experienced it as well. But what we have here and now is a culture of love and acceptance and true caring that I wish we could share with the world. And perhaps as people come and visit and join us for periods of time before venturing out to the rest of the world they are able to take this feeling of nurturing love and open community with them as they travel the planet. I truly believe that we are living the ideal of community so many people long for. And I just want to say thank you to all of you who share yourselves with our community. Thank you for living this beautiful dream with me
