I really hate debating and arguing over politics. I rarely ever do it, but sadly this one got me pretty upset, and it was on a subject that is extremely sensitive and important to me. At first strong opinions were expressed on both sides, then it started to get a little too heated when the other person suggested the issue I was concerned about was not a priority of or in the best interest of the US government, or for that matter themselves because in so many words WE AND THE US GOVERNMENT DONT GET ANYTHING OUT OF IT, SO WHY INTERFERE?. But I wonder how any friend of mine could also agree with that policy Or think that way. And since when is the worst genocide since the holocaust treated with such little regard. Im sick of the excuses, and Im sick of no one doing anything about it. But most of all Im sick of people defending the idea of not responding to it. That is what made me angry. None the less I tried several times to ask we just stop bickering about it and put an end to the argument. But the other party kept on going after my asking this several times and put words in my mouth claiming I said things I never said. Then suddenly this person deleted the entire thing, including my comments, which took a lot of thought, time and were very important too me. I then noticed that after all of this the individual posted that someone had just put them through an Inquisition. That was enough for me. Delete and block. Some subjects of an unusually sensitive nature to me need to be treated with just a little more consideration and respect.
