I really like being a monopolist in academic Swedish railway law: - TopicsExpress

I really like being a monopolist in academic Swedish railway law: the literature is manageable, and it doesnt grow while Im writing. Also, I get to define some of the issues, and anybody who follows after me will have to argue with my texts. That is a true privilege. But stumbling over unanswered questions of principle in every second paragraph I write is also immensely frustrating. The more I try to answer at least some of my questions (which hopefully are also questions in which others are interested), the deeper I sink into the quagmire of questions that ought to be answered first. I have not yet found the first principle, and I doubt I ever will. Thus, I have to tell the reader Im taking tentative stances, that I dont really know what I think but make assumptions, and that some obvious questions will be answered later on. Not exactly the attitude that instills confidence. Why cant I be interested in something just a tad more boring?
