I really like this. I think with the onslaught of cable, satellite, smart phones, laptops, touch screens, tablets, etc., we as a race, have abandoned and ignored much of the threads that unite us. We are all humans! I annoy the crap out of many around me by constantly engaging in conversations with waitresses, register attendants, people standing in line, people pumping gas, sitting next to me at the doctors. I will admit that on some level, that I NEED to connect to strangers. I try to see the admirable and uniqueness in all. We as humans, are ALL terribly flawed. I think most people seem to want to use the flaws in others as a chance to make themselves feel better instead of embracing the duality that runs like a river in all of us!
