I really like this idea. But, we need to expand it to other populations in our society other demographics in their communities. More specifically Native Americans where their lands were taken, and their people murdered, and their culture criminalized. Did you know that the Native American people could not practice their religion legally until the late 70s, early 80s?! African Americans where their families were broken up and sold into slavery. And where their people were tortured and murdered. Oh yeah, they dont have monuments erected in their honor, in their memory. Nothing that measures up to the pain and suffering theyve lived for decades and centuries. There is a great deal of truth to be respected and embraced, faced by the white people of this country.
