I really lost all my hopes and faiths on AIFF. Mohammedan Sporting - TopicsExpress

I really lost all my hopes and faiths on AIFF. Mohammedan Sporting Club had nothing else to do. This may be a signal about what coming in next! I have my memories with MDSC, specially 1981s league. This club has over 1 Cr. supporters across India. Other big clubs may also have to face these in near future if AIFF continues to be one-eyed like this. They are doing everything unjust. Sorry to say that Mr. Praful Patel, may understand politics, but certainly doesnt understand Football. I still havent got any reply from him regarding the letter I wrote him on 11th August. They are applying all these licensing and strict measures to the traditional clubs, but what about these ISL sides. If there is a single Franchisee owned side, which can fulfill those criteria? There are some big corporate group, so they will not utter a single word. I am not against ISL. But, the kind of Buzz, hypes we are now witnessing over ISL, couldnt it be done with I-League too? Running two all-India super division tournaments and creating all the buzzes about only one, ruins the other. I still can say, the kind of emotional attachments that fans have with Mohun Bagan and East Bengal, these new ISL sides need years to even compete with them in this. From foreigners quota to infrastructure, AIFF is strengthening measures and regulations on I-League sides and the sides those play football for 12 months, without being sympathetic about their conditions. What AIFF is doing, is a serious threat to their credentials. AIFF is there because of the clubs, not the vice versa. I request them to rethink about their stand on Mohammedan Sporting and to promote I-league too in this way. If they ignore us this time, there will be a massive protest. It will go to even Delhi and well protest in front of AIFF office, if they continue their arrogant policies.
