I really love this time of year but it is also a very emotional time for me. Eight years ago at this time I knew I was losing my mother to cancer. Last year our son Travis was fighting for his life having been diagnosed with cancer and not knowing what was ahead of us. This year we just got back from Houston for his checkup and was told he was cancer free but he could possibly be developing a secondary cancer. We are praying the lab has made an error in his bloodwork. We will be making another trip to Houston in a couple of weeks for another checkup. As much as I love this time of year, Im having a difficult time getting started on decorating. I have so many mixed feelings but am truly thankful for all of the blessings God has given us. We are so blessed!
