I really make an effort to Recycle everything as much as possible the old fashioned way, which is to save things and re-use it. I reuse all paper or plastic bags. I do not like to use plastic bags but if I do, I reuse it as a trash bag and I dont buy any garbage bags. I mostly reuse all the glass bottles and it hurts my heart that there is so much plastic wrapping, boxing and crap that products come in these days. Therefore, reuse boxes, packing tissue, etc for shipping as well. I have sold all my TVs, I dont want to watch TV. I sold most of my furniture because chairs and couches only screw up your spine and result in poor posture. I lived a different life before and I wasnt happy. I dont want to give into the Consumerism constantly buying the next best thing, chasing material possessions and hoarding things. Things dont make you happy, maybe only temporarily and then you get sick of it and youll want more, more and more. For me, I realized I like living simply. I like following old-school ways. I want to protect our planet and give it my all to be considerate. I live in society, I drive a car, I go to Costco and dont use a compost (yet). Im still working on it, maintaining a balance while Im staying conscious and aware. I want to live better, to be a better citizen of the Earth. Each day, I will put in more effort! Whose with Me?!
