I really need a hobby. Not like my foraging stuff, because that too is work, but a real honest-to-goodness hobby. Something fun. Do you have any idea how long its been since I did something I thought was fun, purely for the enjoyment of it? Its been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time, long enough to count in tens of years. All work and no play destroys me mentally, physically, and emotionally (right now, the feeling of defeat is kind of overwhelming). Its been hard to get myself a hobby while balancing work, school, and family life with 3 females who share ZERO interests with me. It seems almost impossible to even find time to find a hobby when those things take up so much of my time and attention. What does a guy have to do to get free every once in a while? Because seriously, there is stress and frustration and just years and years of struggle going on here, and Im not sure how much longer it can go on before it actually begins killing me. Sometimes I think it already is.
