I really need to make a note of this: Because I had a particularly Glorious Day yesterday and Happiness needs to be shared like a disease....First my guitarist Gustavo Antonio De Nadal and I went to pick up some documents for Luz and after went to lunch at this amazing place...they had Chimichurri!!! (A spice from Argentina so potent and delicious that´s difficult to find here) I drowned everything on my plate in it...and walked to find a table...and there sitting was a great friend and English Professor Evermondo Guimaraes....So we joined him and had a fascinating conversation...Gustavo and Ever became fast friends cause they are both heavy spiritual cats...and that was a great pleasure to unite two of my best buds....Then Gustavo, TaTa and me took off to Gustavo´s little farm overlooking the river..TaTa romped around in the woods...out of her mind with joy...we found wild bananas and pineapples...was so lovely....Then we took Tata home....and went to a Taoist temple where we joined Evermondo... I met beautiful Taiwanese people..A grandpa who was just visiting so he spoke no english or portuguese...just kept smiling and refilling my tea.... I managed to joke with him anyway...we had a great conversation and an incredible vegetarian Taiwanese Meal (the first authentic ethnic food I´ve had down here) We talked about Hong Kong..the similarities between Buddhism and The Tao, and how we need to fight for peace in the world from inside of us...the only thing that could have made it better would be if Luz was along...but all in all...a nearly perfect day...I wish the same for you today...
