I really, really dont want to put anyone on blast. But I feel like - TopicsExpress

I really, really dont want to put anyone on blast. But I feel like Ive run out of options, honestly. Ive got some conflict with Crunchyroll. And now I feel like I should talk about it publicly, if only just as a little warning to others. Just over a year ago Crunchyroll hosted a cosplay contest in collaboration with SEGA to promote Project Diva F. They promised the new game to three Miku cosplayers who would win. With various other prizes for first place. crunchyroll/forumtopic-818875/hatsune-miku-cosplay-contest-win-hatsune-miku-project-diva-f https://facebook/media/set/?set=a.10151717047864340.1073741864.6047074339&type=3 I won one of those places, as did two other cosplayers. Including my good friend Kaler Pilar Navazo. Its been over a year, and WE still have not received that prize.(And neither has at least one other winner, while 1st place only received her things 6 months after the fact). 1/3 doesnt really cut it in my opinion. I literally went out to finally buy the game myself last weekend, after a year because Ive given up on ever receiving it. I have countless emails sent to and returned from Crunchyroll over the past year, between me and Kaler and the 1st place winner. Ive given them my address several times only to be forgotten. The only excuse I keep getting back is that Crunchyroll doesnt handle prizes. SEGA does. But then they fail to tell me whom at SEGA to reach. Ive been given no explanations or reassurances really and the whole process just left me disappointed in Crunchyroll from a business standpoint. And while their offer of a few free months of anime streaming was kind, it leaves a sour taste in your month when you realize that its all you are going to get. Oh well. I dont want to get up in arms about something I won for free. It was an honor and privilege for the opportunity -- but I dont think its right for a company to be so nonchalant in brushing off the promises its made. And I know that many of us entered the contest for the chance to win the game and expand our love for Crypton Media. So please, fellow cosplayers and friends, just be wary of any future contests via Crunchyroll. Knowing that the 2nd Project Diva F game is coming out this fall, I couldnt help but wonder if they would be doing a second contest. Be wary if they do. If Crunchyroll happens to see this, please know that Im open to hearing from you and will of course update this status in the case that something is explaned or resolved. My email (again) is aicosupre@gmail and Ive been waiting for an email from you for about 12 months.
