I really, really, really like Hilary Duff. I think she is an exceptional role model for young women everywhere, particularly adolescent females who are in that awkward state between girlhood and mature femininity. Transition from the ovus to the fully formed woman is no easy journey, and most of it can be a confusing maze for girls who come to fruition in the diverse fabrics of an urban metropolis. When billboards promote artifice as valor and obedience to popular trend as chastity, Duff is a reminder of several important aspects of psychological development for an individual. Firstly, that fame isnt an indicator of ethical upheaval, it is entirely up to the individual to salvage their own integrity or destroy it. Secondly, the feminine mystique isnt a locale reserved for the concubine. Thirdly, that the capacity to be bright, cheerful, optimistic, and happy, is truly beautiful. Fourthly, there is nothing quite as intellectually charming or sensually dangerous as a woman who wears a genuine smile. Fifthly, when you endeavor in a direction that you love, what you produce is a testament to that virtue and your whole life resounds as an aria to the principles of your creative spark. That creative spark isnt reserved to the art world, it can be channeled into any proximity that matches whichever vibrancy allows your individuality to blossom. For any females out there betwixt about their futures, aim to create your future as an ode to what you love. Love is a light, a glow, it gives anyone who experiences its mark a radiance blooming from within the sustenance of a soul, which then naturally transmits an energetic frequency of radiance outwards to others. It neither absorbs nor demands. Unlike many of her popstar counterparts, Duff has always maintained a graceful respect for the male gender and for herself without ever being classless or attention-needy. Personifying that balance is quite a feat in an era in which degradation towards the sensitive female and the castration of the archetypal male gentleman has become a prevalent societal fixture. For anyone who dares to argue that all children must eventually grow up, Duff shows the world that the adventure of growing up doesnt have to be synonymous with the loss of innocence. There are no hammers in this video, but it is far more alluring. In so many music videos there is an emphasis on the obvious elements of what constitute the summative female. The Ancients understood the balance of masculine & feminine duality better than any modern attempts at provocation. The Kama Sutra clearly outlines the most fascinating aspects of a woman to a man are the hidden erogenous zones of her architecture. How beautiful the female form is, with each soft delicacy from the curvature of a swan-like neck to the elegance of a mischevious wink.
