I really want a dog trainer of the year award for a big screw up gone right. I was thinking that I would write a post about how Claudia, dog reactive, has done 5 introductions this month to new dogs with no problem, even new dogs at the fence line. However I wasnt ready for the advanced pass that she did when she learned to open the main door.....she met sadie, izzy, jade, dylan, jodie, sasha, journey, and nyla. Only 1 of these is a playmate. She was a little stressed by so many and I gave her the ultimate place command, go to your room. On the way there she decided to snark at journey (mild) and she was redirected on cue and with prompts went to her crate. And Journey deserves a peer model dog of the year because she also followed cue and did not respond allowing us to complete without leashes, without treats, without incident, and without the trainer having a heart attack the most advanced claudia pass to date. Yeah us!!!!!
