I really want to start a magazine or newspaper called Perspective. For instance, a recent headline in the paper was something like: 1000 People Have Been Stabbed In London In The Past Year. In Perspective, the headline would read: Only 0.01% of Londons Population Have Been Stabbed In The Past Year. With the subheading: You Have A Better Chance Of Being Struck By Lightning. That flip of the exact same statistic makes such a difference. Most media sensationalise statistics and twist facts out of context to sell papers, shock people, draw in readers, etc., but all they do is perpetuate fear and misery throughout society. In Perspective, Id have stories like Katie Price Is Getting Divorced and then finish them off with, but to put that into perspective, yesterday 17,000 people died of starvation and disease in Sudan. Be thankful for your life and be happy you live in a land of opportunity and freedom. Dont worry about, Katie -- shes rich and doesnt care about you anyway. Have a good day.
