I really wanted to do something special for Picard, so I just asked Patrick Stewart, the actor from Star Trek, that Picard is named after to maybe at least send Picard a note. I know its a long shot. Im going to post it here, maybe everyone can share it and post it or place it somewhere else, maybe with enough voices we can reach Mr. Stewart. Mr. Stewart, I know this is a long shot posting a comment on here, but I have to try in hopes this will reach you. Im sure you get lots of requests everyday and I truly appreciate that you are one man and cannot answer everything that comes along. However, should this find you, I have one special request please. About a month after my youngest brother turn 21, and on the night before Easter this year, 2014, he was in a tragic accident that left him with burns on 90% of his body. He is still in the hospital now fighting with everything in him to survive. He has ups and downs, good days and bad, he still pushes on. Im not asking you for a visit or an autograph, if only you could take just a moment to send him a post card or a note would be greatly appreciated. I call upon you because my brother was named after your character on Star Trek. Our parents were great fans of your character and so they named their only son, Thomas Picard Choate.
