I really wish Texas high schools had better integrated programs with trade schools. College isnt for everyone and thats 150% ok, but not getting a degree doesnt make you less qualified to contribute to society. When I was in high school, you either got a job, went to college, joined the military, or married the military. There wasnt trade options. I know some schools offer cosmetology or mechanics programs and thats awesome, but what about CNAs or different tech options? Its like kids are so limited in options and can feel unsuccessful if they dont go to college or join the military.
