I received a Jury Summons today. In the past, like many people, I would have sought some way to get out of it. That is until 2008 when my eyes were opened wide to my Civic duty. Our federal government is far and away beyond its constitutional limitations and out-of-control. Ive since learned that the juror has greater power than the judge, greater power than the President of the United States, and greater power than Mr. Obama. America is being dangerously led into becoming a democracy. The 16th and 17th Amendments are great examples of that; each a step toward a Democracy and a step away from the Republic that our Founding Fathers intended. In a Democracy, you get only one vote and the majority rules = Mob Rule! There are many Republics, but our Founding Fathers wisely gave us a Constitution and a Republic like no other before in history or since. Our Constitution has endured for over 237 years - longer than any other constitution in history. In our Republic, we have 3 votes. The first vote is at the ballot box when we pick those who will represent us in the seat of government. But what can be done if those elected officials just don’t perform as promised or expected? Well, the second two votes are the most effective means by which the common people of any nation on earth have even had in controlling those appointed to serve them in government. The second vote comes when you serve on a Grand Jury. Before anyone can be brought to trial for a capital or infamous crime by those acting in the name of the government, permission must be obtained from people serving on the Grand Jury! The Minneapolis Star and Tribune in March 27, 1987, edition noted a purpose of the grand Jury in this way: “A Grand Jury’s purpose is to protect the public from an overzealous prosecutor.” The third is the most powerful vote: this is when you are acting as a jury member during a courtroom trial. At this point, “the buck stops” with you! It is in this setting that each JUROR has MORE POWER than the President, all of Congress, and all of the judges combined! Congress can legislate (make law), the President or some other bureaucrat can make an order or issue regulations, and judges may instruct or make a decision, but no JUROR can ever be punished for voting “Not Guilty!” Any juror can, with impunity, choose to disregard the instructions of any judge or attorney in rendering his vote. If only one JUROR should vote “Not Guilty” for any reason, there is no conviction and no punishment at the end of the trial. Thus, those acting in the name of government must come before the common man to get permission to enforce law. The government must come before the people for the people to judge the accused AND THE LAW. The juror has the power of NULLIFICATION! THIS IS WHY IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY GOOD CITIZEN TO SIT ON A JURY WHEN CALLED UPON; TO STOP ABUSIVE GOVERNMENT (TYRANNY). Download the Citizens Rule Book at apfn.org/pdf/citizen.pdf.
