I received a call from a young man, very distraught. His boss had called a meeting and threatened to fire him. I listened carefully as he vented and justified himself. I gave him a good amount of time to talk. When he reached the point of repeating himself, I asked him if he would like to listen to my opinion. He said, "Yes, most certainly, that is why I called you." I told him that I saw some good things. First, they did not fire him, but did levy some complaints. Second, he was being tested to see what his response would be. Third, the ball was still in his court as he controlled his future with the company. Fourth, if he handled his business right, God would help him. Actions speak louder than words. If you have a plan and implement that plan, somebody will notice. Life is full of tests and trials. Anyone can get knocked down. A champion is one who gets up and moves on. By the time I was through talking to my young friend, he was of a mind to make things happen in a positive way. Today is a good day to let your actions speak for you. James 2:20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? NKJV Sincerely,
