I received a call this morning from Cardiff Childrens Services, not a Social Worker but one the admin staff. This was a return call from yesterday when I called Cardiff Childrens Services to speak to a team manager involved in my sons case. This team manager has written reports on me for court even though this team manager has never spoken to me or has never met me. (Obviously his reports are just another copy and paste document). I was informed by admin staff that my childs case had now been moved to another team with a new team manager. I was given a new telephone number to a family centre that the new team work from. I was not given a name of the new team manager. I then called the family centre to speak with this new team manager (who I dont have a name for). The family centre admin answered phone and I gave him my name and asked to speak with the team manager, I was then asked my childs name which I would not give due to not wanting to identify my child to someone who is just admin staff and I did not even know who he was, he could have been just anyone. Just confirming my name should be enough to speak with the Team manager involved in my case. Eventually I got to speak with a Social Worker, I again gave my name to the person I was speaking to. I asked if she was the team manager, she was not, I asked if she was a social worker involved in my case, she was not. I again asked if I could speak with a team manager involved in my childs case to which I was told the team manager was unavailable due to being in court. She then told me the social workers name who was involved in my childs case so I asked to speak with her and was informed she was on holiday. I then asked the social worker I was speaking to if she would confirm my childs name and she then said she would have to ask. So I started questioning how she could confirm my childs social worker if she did not know who my child was? She said the social workers name was generated from a pin number, so I pushed further and that pin number is actually my childs identification. So our children are just numbers now and this now confirms to me that is the reason why they can never get my childrens names correct in court documents. Social Services my child/ren are not NUMBERS, they have names which clearly shows from court docs that none of you actually know and you expect me to accept that what you have/are done/doing is in the best interest of my child/ren.
