I received a phone call from one of the members of the campaign for Republican Senator Mike Delph saying that, at least for now, Mr. Delph would not accept my invitation to debate on Latino issues with the Democratic Candidate JD Ford for State Senate, both from District 29. We don’t know whether Senator Delph will debate with JD Ford in the near future. JD Ford accepted my invitation to a televised debate on the same day I made the invitation. I haven’t spoken personally with Senator Delph on this invitation. I received only a quick phone call from his campaign saying that Senator will finish his legislative work and then he may consider my invitation to debate with his Democratic opponent. Now, I have invited both candidates to the state Senate to a one-on-one interview in the En Contexto show. The Democratic candidate JD Ford has already accepted my invitation to that interview, but I haven’t heard anything neither directly from Senator Delph nor from his staff in the Legislature about whether he would give me a one-on-one interview. #luisnavarronews #Elections #MikeDelph #JDFord #District29
