I received a subpoena to appear as a witness this morning in the states case against my ex boyfriend.. The anxiety and anticipation that Ive been battling over the past few days and especially this morning has been overwhelming to say the least.. But this morning when I showed up at the court house they informed me that the trial has been postponed until 1pm this afternoon, due to a personal medical problem that he was on his way to the hospital for (a toothache). So, as Im sitting in the car with Matthew Schmidt about to have a mental breakdown while he does and says everything he can to help me through it.. I feel a weird nudge in my tummy that Id never felt anything like before.. It took me a 30 seconds and a couple of nudges more to realize that it was our baby moving around and I was feeling it for the first time! It was almost like she was reminding me that everything happens for a reason.. And it couldnt have come at a better time. One of the hardest times in my life led me right where I needed to be. 💕 I have my husband and my baby and nothing else matters. God bless the broken road..
