I received some great news! Despite the challenges and losses of this past year, Rita has passed and will be proceeding to the next grade level!!! I knew, the day that I met her, that she was far too smart not to get an education. She has a spark within that could very well make her a conduit of change within her community, given a solid education and new experiences. Still looking for contributions to be able to send her to a very good boarding school. If you are not in a position to contribute, you can still help by sharing our plea with others.
