I received the following article - Utahns against Common Core - from a friend, A.J. Cameron, who I have gotten to know after responding to an article A.J. wrote for the Canadian Free Press on Common Core. I read a lot, scan a lot, and when an article really connects with me as valid, I want to know more about who wrote it. With delight I saw A.J. lives in the Kansas City area. We now have both met and invested in ongoing communication on several issues of important to us. Below are the comments sent to me by A.J. and the link that he is referencing. I echo his urging that teachers and administrators read the article. A.J. Cameron: This comes from a new acquaintance in Wichita, KS. If you are in the educational system, I encourage you to read this column several times. The beliefs of Dr. John Goodlad are especially chilling. Those atop our educational system do not have the best interests of our children/students in mind. The agenda is sacrosanct, and the entire teaching profession is at risk with this agenda!
