I received the following message this afternoon. Im super excited for the privilege to be involved in something so important! Hi Vanessa I have a couple questions for you... I belong to the Psi Iota Xi sorority in Carroll County and we are going to be participating in this event in Tippecanoe County in November for the unemployed, underemployed, and homeless veterans in Tippecanoe county. I was wondering if you could give me some good tips on how to purchase personal hygiene products at a great price so of course we can get the most bang for our buck. I have a list of some of the items they are looking for. Any and all advise is greatly appreciated as this is our first year participating in this event. I have attached a flyer that has more details about the event... Thanks in advance. I asked for the list of needed items. Heres the list: pocket calendars, band aids, combs, hair brushes, rubber band for hair, small travel mirrors, deodorant, foot powder, gauze pads, ibuprofen, Kleenex, medical tape, nail clippers, sewing kits, sock, tampon/pads, shampoos, razors, toothbrushes/ toothpaste, breakfast bars I will be setting up a donation tote here for anyone that wants to donate. Along with this, I will be making a gift basket for the person who puts the most items from this list in my donation tote. It doesnt have to be all at once. I will do an accumulated total. This ends November 1st at noon. Thanks so much!!
